My close friends know that I've been wanting to hit the gym for a long time now. Gone are the days of wearing my hip-hugger Seven Jeans so that I could show of my belly ring. Well..those days we're long gone anyhow now that I'm a married woman. But now, even if I were to be able to pull those same hip hugging jeans over my thighs, the only thing I would be able to show off now is my muffin top.

Why am I telling all of you this? Because I want to lose all the weight I've gained so I'm putting it out there so I can be held accountable. So when anyone ever asks me how the weight loss is coming along, I can proudly say.. "Awesome! I've lost 2 pounds this week!" I know this is going to be a challenge for me. Afterall..I am the same girl who had a Ballys membership for three years and went to the gym only 3 times..I'M NOT KIDDING!
So, starting this Monday, I'm going to start working out 4 times a week. Maybe 3 times a week. Okay, NO, 4 times a week!! I'm not going to lie to you all and say that I'm going to start watching what I eat because I won't :-) I love food too darn much to ever do that. But I'll see how the working out goes. If the working out doesn't do a darn thing for me, then I'll start looking at my diet and seeing what modifications I can make. Like instead of drinking Coke, maybe I'll switch to Coke Zero.
I'll give you all an update each week to let you know how I'm doing...every Friday..maybe more updates depending on how much I need to complain about working out :-D

hey trista, don't be so hard on yourself... everytime i saw you, i thought you looked great, so i know you are over-analyzing yourself (which we all do to ourselves). i used to go to the gym 3xs a week but who has time now that i'm married..hahha..now, at most, i would go 1x to the gym and run 20 min. on the treadmill at home. but you know what, i just discovered pilates.. hahah.. i love yoga, but i finally tried pilates and it kicks ass! hahah.. it really works on your core and abs.. LOVE IT! keep us posted, but remember, you're FABULOUS as you are.

trista! ure soo funny.. reading your post made me laugh so hard at work! i was thinking coke = diet coke ahha but u said coke zero! dont feel so bad!! i didnt lose any weight for my wedding at all and i tried soooo hard! and besides nobody can maintain the same weight after 2 1/2 yrs! thats insane!! u still look great and thats what counts!
OMG, I'm laughing so hard right now! Hey, I've gained 23 plus pounds in 6 months! Okay, whatever. I'm pregnant. But still, not fun. You are so skinny Trista and you don't need to go on a diet! You're crazy!
you made me laugh sooo hard with this post!! i agree with the other posters; of course you are gorgeous. but i will say that going to the gym just helps me feel better, more self-confident and energized! you should join the gym kristin & i go to, and join us for an intense class! i force myself to go 3x a week; it's the best. xoxoxoxoxo
omg...i'm laughing SOOOO hard right now!! no, seriously, i look like a crazy lady laughing at my computer! let's go to te gym together! i go to kick boxing twice a week and 24Lift twice a week...let me know if you wanna join me at 24 hour fitness and we;ll make a date of it! after our workouts we'll celebrate with Coke Zero! :)

Rolling eyes at you, you crazy lady! Some of my friends who took pictures of you in action at my wedding still commented, "Dammit, she's married...she's still married right?" And from the girls, "Wow, beautiful and talented" after I showed them the slideshow you made for us.
Although I do applaud you for being determined to work out. I kept on telling myself that every day...to work all that yummy food off, because like you, I will NOT give up food!
